Firstly a warm welcome to all those of you who have taken interest in our website.

Here you will find information on our municipality in the areas of health, education, infrastructure, economy and many others. Also it will tell you a little about our customs, traditions, celebrations and our unique natural beauty.

For many years the towns and communities of San Pedro de Zacapa have been hidden away from the outside world. This has increased the problems of poverty since there has been no possibility of having access to projects and programs that mitigate the necessities that we have.

This Web site shows a little of the natural beautiful that make our part of the world so unique in addition to it’s people and the communities who, in the face of many hardships never lose their high spirits, sense of humor and display of hospitality for visitors.

As mayor and head representative of this municipality we are currently developing projects in Ecotourism and the Rural Tourism. In this website, you will be able to appreciate the potential that our municipality has.

We hope you like what you see here and hope that maybe soon you’ll pay us a visit. As many before you will testify, you will never forget your unforgettable moments in San Pedro de Zacapa.
